We are a dynamic group of believers who lead auxiliaries and programs in support of societal and global issues.

Pastor: Rev. Dr. John S. Walker, Brief Bio:

Rev. Dr. John S. Walker is a native of Columbus, Ohio
He has served as the pastor of Christian Friendship MBC for 30 years
He is married to Barbara Lattimore-Walker of Rochester NY
He is a proud US Army Veteran
He served as Director of the Big Brothers, Big Sisters Program of Rochester NY for 9.5 years, and is a retiree of the Monroe Community College where he served 28 years as a professor.  He currently works in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester where he serves as a Professor of History and Political Science.  He is the proud parent of 7 children and 10 grandchildren. In addition, Dr. Walker is the founder of The Rochester Area Child Abuse Network. His favorite scripture is: Lamentations 3: 21-26, "His Mercies are New Every Morning."

Evangelist Barbara Lattimore-Walker, Brief Bio:
First Lady of Christian Friendship MBC.

Lady Walker has served as a member a of the Board of Ministers for 20 years, she currently functions in the capacity of an Associate Minister. She has also served as the Women's Ministry President, Voices of Faith Choir member, primary Sunday School teacher, and Vacation Bible School Teacher.  In addition, she has served in the capacity of Annual Women's Ministry Chair, and Women's Retreat.  Lady Walker completed her undergraduate work at Monroe Community College, and the University of Rochester in Rochester NY, earning an AAS Degree in Liberal Arts, and a BA in Psychology in 1999, and 2002.  She completed a graduate course of study at the University of Rochester Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development earning an MS in School and Community Counseling in 2004.  In 2005 she served as a Red Cross volunteer in Baton Rouge, Louisianna as member of the Lead Mental Health staff supporting victims of Hurricane Katrina.  Lady Walker studied at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School as an MDIV candidate, in 2015, recently completing that course of study at Northeastern Theological Seminary in 2020.  She is currently a doctoral candidate at Northeastern where she is completing a course of study towards the DMIN degree.  Evangelist Walker is a native Rochester, and parent of 5 children, two adult, and two minor children, one precious angel, 'Mario' is deceased.  She is a proud Nana to four grandchildren. Lady Walker's favorite scripture: Mark 11: 23-24, "Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes…"

Deacon Henry Killings Sr.

Deacon Henry Killings is a retiree of The Eastman Kodak Company of Rochester NY and has served as a member of Christian Friendship MBC for 36 years where he serves as the Deacon Board President.  His spouse, is Deaconess Rutha Killings, together they are parents to 7 adult children. In addition, Deacon Killings serves as President of the CFMBC Royal Echoes, Member of the CFMBC Men's Ministry, where he serves as Vice President. He is a native of Georgia.

Deacon Relton V. Roland

Retired from the Monroe County Department of Human Services in 2002. He served as a Bilingual Liaison for the DHS for over 28 years. He dedicated most of his life's work to community services, working and assisting in the development of Hispanic and African American communities in the Rochester and Monroe county area.  He Promoted Black History Month, Martin Luther King Day Celebrations, Hispanic Heritage month, and relevant consciousness raising workshops in the workplace.  He currently serves as a member of the United Christian Leadership Ministry of Western N.Y., an organization dedicated to convening clergy, police, and community to improve police community relations in the Greater Rochester region. He has lived most of his adult years in Rochester and is a naturalized citizen of the USA. He has been a member of Christian Friendship Missionary Baptist Church since 2016. Where he serves in the Music Ministry of the church as the keyboardist.  In addition, he is a member of the Men's Fellowship Ministry, and active member of CFMBC Adult Sunday School and weekly Bible study. Deacon Roland is a father to two daughters, and two sons, and grandfather to five grandchildren.  Deacon Roland hold's a master's degree in Social Work from Syracuse University, and undergraduate degree in Business from Rochester Institute of Technology.  He is a native of the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Bio of Associate Ministers:

Rev. Charles Chealey

Spouse: Elizabeth Chealey
Rev. Chealey was called into service in 1976 and has served as the Senior Associate Minister of CFMBC for 10 years, and is the former pastor New Progress Baptist Church for 12 years.  He serves as the CFMBC Sunday School Superintendant, President of the Christian Friendship Men's Ministry, and Vice President of the CFMBC Royal Echoes Men's vocal group. The Chealey's are the proud parents to 13 adult children, and a host of granchildren.  Rev Chealey is a graduate of the Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School Pearl Program.  He is a native of Desoto, Georgia.  His favorite scripture is: John 3:16, "For God So Loved The World, that He Gave His only Son…"

Rev. John Padgett

Spouse: Sheila Padgett
Rev. Padgett is a US Navy Veteran and has served onboard the USS NEW JERSEY BB-62, USS PELELIU LHA5 and NAVCOMSTAPHIL where he was assigned to the fleet boxing team.

The Padgett's are the proud parents of 3 adult children, and 4 grandchildren. Rev. Padgett has served as an Associate Minister at Christian Friendship MBC for the past 3 years.  Rev. Padgett is a graduate of Monroe Community College where he earned an AAS Degree, and Certificate in Human Services. He attended Colgate Crozer Divinity School, PEARL Program. In 2008, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from Nazareth College, in Rochester NY, and later in 2011, earned his Master of Science in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester. NY.  Rev. Padgett was raised In Rochester, NY where he attended public schools. His favorite scripture: John 14: 1-6, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you…"
